Make display readable in sunlight?

Having trouble viewing your camera or cellphone display in sunlight?
Some quick solutions to make screen bright:

• increase contrast and brightness of display in settings
• look for shadow/indoor place

• make shadow with your hands, body or head
• choose high contrast theme with big font
• newer displays have better contrast and brightness so buying new video display may help
• e-ink and oled display are readable in daylight/sunlight
• make calls instead sms, use text-to-speech software instead of reading mail or use audiobooks&podcasts
